Sustainable Biomaterial Prosthetic Shell

The co-living prosthetic shell is made from a mycelium composite, exploring the natural growth of mycelium and transforming agricultural waste into a sustainable material. Beyond providing protection for prosthetic limbs, the unique texture of the mycelium offers individuals with disabilities a new material experience. This tactile sensation provides physical and psychological support, fostering a sense of connection between the user and the prosthetic shell. The design encourages a symbiotic relationship, strengthening the bond between user and prosthetic, enhancing well-being and self-confidence.

可持续生物材料义肢外壳

共生假肢外壳采用菌丝体复合材料,探索菌丝体自然生长机制,将农业废料转化为生物复合材料。该假肢外壳不仅为假肢提供保护,还通过菌丝体材料独特的质感,为残障人士带来全新的材质体验,提供身体与心理上的支持,促使他们与假肢外壳形成共生关系。
