The Future Transformation of Healthcare Logistics

As urbanisation accelerates, modern healthcare buildings are becoming increasingly overwhelmed with today’s medical tasks. Unmanned Aerial Vehicles (UAVs), due to their unique nature, high manoeuvrability, low maintenance costs and excellent controllability, have become an extremely important part of the healthcare industry in the future of the material transport industry and the upgrading of emergency medical services. Moreover, the addition of UAVs is an inevitable choice for the transformation of the medical building logistics system into an intelligent and efficient one. The purpose of this paper is to provide an overview of potential solutions and feasibility studies for the practical application of drones in the healthcare industry.
